MGA's Miniverse Real Music Record Player
The verdict
This is not a pretend record player: it genuinely plays mini vinyl. The set includes one playable record — a Classical Rock Remix of Beethoven's 5th Symphony (a 30-second track) — plus two mini display speakers and a furniture piece for showing off the collection.
MGA's Miniverse Real Music Record Player — about $21.99 · 4.1★ from 118 ratings · a real working mini turntable that actually plays tiny vinyl records.
It works with the full Real Music vinyl line: mystery blind packs of four records ($11.99) with 30-second clips from Britney Spears, Elton John, TLC, blink-182, The Beach Boys, Public Enemy, and more.

Blind details
The blind-shopper angle is that this is an audio-first collectible: the record actually plays, so the fun is something you hear, not something you look at. Before buying, listen to a video review to judge the sound quality from the tiny speaker — that is the whole experience. Two cautions to shop around: every track is only 30 seconds, so the $21.99 player is the start of a collection, not the whole thing; and the blind-pack records are a surprise, which is delightful for collectors but frustrating if the kid wants one specific song.
Honest caveats: the $21.99 price and 4.1★ rating were verified at Target and the MGA shop; an Amazon listing exists but our research did not capture its live price or rating, so confirm both at checkout. The two mini speakers are for display — the sound comes from the player itself. Ages 8 and up. As of October 2026.
