Privacy policy

Plain language, no legalese. Here's what we collect, what we don't, and why.

The short version

We collect as little as possible. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone except the services that make the site work (described below). We never charge blind users for anything, and we never will.

What we collect

Contact form

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. That's it. We use it only to read your message and reply to you.

• How long we keep it: until your inquiry is resolved, then we delete it. We don't build a mailing list from contact-form submissions.
• Who else sees it: messages pass through FormSubmit, the free service that delivers the form to our inbox. They see the same name, email, and message — that's how the delivery works. We don't send your information anywhere else.

Community reviews

If you submit a product review, we receive the review text, the star rating, and the display name you choose. Reviews are moderated by a person before appearing on the site. We keep published reviews as part of the product pages; unpublished or rejected reviews are deleted.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit, so we know what's useful. It does not use tracking cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not follow you across the web. It's the privacy-friendly option — no cookie banner needed.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your address, phone number, date of birth, or any financial information. We don't run ads that track you. We don't use Google Analytics or Facebook pixels.

Affiliate links

Some product links on this site are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is visibly labeled with an "Affiliate link" pill. We only recommend products we'd recommend anyway; the commission never decides what gets listed. Our full stance is in the site footer on every page: if a product isn't worth recommending, no commission makes it worth listing.

Your rights

Want to see what we have from you, or want it deleted? Email us through the contact form and we'll take care of it. You're talking to a person, not a ticket queue.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes get a notice on the homepage too.
