Schlage Sense Pro
Schlage Sense Pro — $338.74. The premium hands-free pick, with the sharpest caveat on this page.
UWB hands-free unlocking, Home Key, keypad, Wi-Fi, Matter/Thread, ANSI Grade 2 — the best walk-up experience here. But it has no keyway at all: if the batteries die, the recovery is a USB-C jumpstart that needs sighted help. For a blind household that caveat is not fine print — it’s a design decision to weigh against the Aqara’s real key. Lock-wide warning, all brands: low-battery warnings are often app-only, so turn on notifications the day you install, or the first warning is a locked door.
