Google Nest Thermostat (2020)
Google Nest Thermostat (2020) — about $85–$130 · 4.1★ (~29.7K ratings) — the thermostat you never touch: full control through the Google Home app or your voice — "Hey Google, set the heat to 70" — and the mirrored touch strip becomes decoration.
Savings Finder and Energy Star certification are the money story; voice control is the accessibility story. Alexa works too, not just Google Assistant.
Wiring caveat: some systems need a C-wire — check compatibility on Google's site before buying, a one-time sighted-help task. Shopper note: the Nest Learning 4th gen (~$280) exists with more features — buy the 2020 model when you want voice control at half the price.
