Blink Video Doorbell

Blink Video Doorbell — price unverified in our research (bundles $58–$120) · ~4.4★ — Alexa announces every press and motion alert, and "Alexa, answer the front door" gives you hands-free two-way talk — the doorbell as intercom.

Two-year battery life and wire-free install. The announcement is the feature: you always know someone's there, and you can talk to them from the couch.

Caveats: person detection needs a Blink subscription, and setup is app-and-visual — plan a sighted setup session. Shopper note: the Echo Show 5 bundle (~$120) is the starter kit if you don't have an Alexa speaker yet; if you do, the standalone doorbell is all you need.
