Bissell CrossWave OmniForce (3882)
The verdict
The OmniForce earns its place by collapsing two chores into one trip around the room: it vacuums and mops sealed hard floors at the same time, and a separate Power Vac mode gives it 75% more suction for dry debris alone. For a blind shopper, the two-tank design is the feature to understand: clean water and formula go in one tank, dirty water goes in another, so you always know the mop is putting down clean solution — and the self-cleaning cycle rinses the brush roll when you dock it, which is the maintenance step that makes or breaks a wet-dry machine.
Bissell CrossWave OmniForce (3882) — about $294 · ≈4.0/5 from ~1,500 reviews on Amazon · the cordless machine that vacuums and mops hard floors in a single pass, with a dedicated dry-vacuum mode for crumbs and fur.
Cordless, up to 30 minutes of runtime, tangle-free brush roll for pet hair: this is a machine built for houses with dogs, kids, and daily mess.
Before buying, measure your house against the machine's limits. Thirty minutes covers a modest hard-floor area, not a whole large house in one go, and the dirty tank (440 ml) fills faster than you expect in a pet home — reviewers who love it empty it after every use, reviewers who hate it let it sit. It cleans sealed hard floors and refreshes area rugs, but it is not a carpet deep cleaner, and it only works properly with Bissell formulas — off-brand solutions can void the warranty, so budget the formula as part of the ongoing cost, not an optional extra.
Honest caveats: there is no voice feedback and no app, so tank levels, mode, and the self-clean cycle are all visual or audible cues you learn by use — fill and empty by routine, not by sight, and keep a spare brush roll and filter on hand so a worn part never stalls cleaning day. At roughly $294 it is a real purchase, and sale prices dip well below that (as low as ~$183 in past tracking), so watch for a deal rather than paying list. As of October 2026, the Amazon price was about $294.
