EyeVac Touchless Stationary Dustpan

The verdict

Plug-in, zero configuration, no app: it sits in one spot and does one job. Excellent buying confidence — the operation is audible start to finish.

EyeVac Touchless Stationary Dustpan — about $139 (list $169) · 4.6★ (15,000+ ratings) — and here's the honest blind-shopper read: the dustpan that does the bending. Sweep debris toward it and the sensor auto-activates — a loud, obvious five seconds of suction confirms it's working, so there's no aiming and no wondering whether it caught anything.

The constraints: it needs an outlet within about six feet, and it's hard floors only — it won't replace a vacuum on carpet. One reviewer disputes the listing's 1-pound weight claim (says 7.5 pounds), so treat the “effortless to move” marketing with skepticism and park it where it will live.
