Taylor 5879 Digital Timer with Light, Sound and Vibration
Taylor 5879 Digital Timer (Taylor) — ~$6 (seen Oct 2026)
Sound, flashing light, and vibration alerts that you can adjust independently — a timer a blind cook can hear, a low-vision cook can see, and a deaf-blind cook can feel, all in one six-dollar gadget. It clips, stands, or sticks to the fridge with a magnet. Honest caveat: the Amazon price comes via a DealNews listing verified Oct 17 (Amazon blocks our direct page reads), and the buttons are small, so do the first setup somewhere quiet.
