Ticket to Ride (Days of Wonder)
Ticket to Ride (Days of Wonder) — about $45–$51 · 4.9 stars, roughly 17,000–20,000 ratings.
The top-rated family board game: ages 8+, easy to learn, and a genuinely giftable big box. The blind-giver angle: an iconic large box, voice-orderable by name. One honest caveat: the board itself is visual, so this lands best as a “play together” gift or with a sighted helper at the table — for games where the blind giver plays as a full equal, see the family games shelf in the toy department.
