HearEsy Talking Alarm Clock for Visually Impaired (Model 1714-IPS)
HearEsy Talking Alarm Clock (HearEsy) — ~$19 (seen Oct 2026)
The budget bedside pick: press the big TALKING button and it loudly announces the time, with large bright digits for anyone with partial vision. Its standout feature is the hourly chime — either 24 hours or just 7am–9pm — which doubles as a medication or routine reminder without any setup beyond choosing the mode. It runs on two AA batteries, so it travels anywhere with no cords. Honest caveat: setup takes some patience (keep the manual), and a few owners report it can drift, so cross-check against your phone now and then.
