BlindShell Classic 2
BlindShell Classic 2 — price not captured in our research.
The most-reviewed accessible phone in the community, from two directions at once. Sam Seavey’s verdict is the strongest word in his vocabulary — he calls it the most accessible phone, full stop, in a video subtitled “The Most Accessible Phone Just Got Better!” (45,000 views, plus a dedicated playlist): a tactile-button phone purpose-built for blind users, where every function is designed for the keypad instead of adapted to a touchscreen. Carrie on Accessibility’s review lands in the same place from the practical side: simple, large print for low vision, voice feedback and voice control, and an SOS button — a good option for an accessible basic phone. Two reviewers, one conclusion, no caveats captured: if a touchscreen phone is the problem, this is the community’s named answer.
