APH Tactile Dice
The verdict
APH's Tactile Dice (Set of 2) are standard dice with raised pips you read by touch: roll them, feel the top face, count the dots, and you have your number — no sighted helper, no app, no announcement needed. At 7/8 of an inch they are a familiar dice size, and the set is sold for use across board games, classroom math games, and any game that calls for a pair of dice.
APH Tactile Dice — about $5.00 at APH · star rating unverified in our research · a set of two dice with raised dots, so a blind player can roll and read the result without asking anyone.

Blind details
The value here is the price-to-independence ratio. Five dollars removes the one moment in a board game where a blind player otherwise has to ask, and a second set in the game box means a lost die never ends game night. They pair naturally with APH's other tactile game pieces and with any mainstream game whose only barrier was the dice.
Honest caveats: APH flags these as small parts, so they are not for unsupervised young children. APH sells primarily through its educational and federal quota channels, though the public can order; shipping runs through APH's shop. No star rating exists for APH shop items. As of October 2026.
