Furniss Studios
Furniss Studios (Washougal, Washington) — turned-wood bowls $225–$475 · smaller pieces from $23.
John Furniss — the TikTok-famous “Blind Woodsman” — turns bowls, lidded vessels, and honey pots on a lathe, shaping each piece entirely from a mental image: “like I’ve got a computer program in my mind.” A “Blind Man Special” bowl runs $225, a large lidded bowl $475, hive honey pots $175, wood smartphone-amplifier bowls $155–$185, bookends $185 — and his wife Anni’s prints ($25), shirts ($23), and charity brooch ($40) start at the giftable end. Know before you buy: restocks are periodic and sell out fast, and the studio takes no custom or international orders.
