VIP 3000 Talking Thermostat
VIP 3000 Talking Thermostat (VIP Talking Thermostats) — ~$299.00 (seen Oct 2026)
A full thermostat that talks you through everything: each press of the oversized up/down arrows speaks the temperature, and the REPORT button announces the current room temp, the set temp, and whether you're on heat, cool, or off. It works with most gas, oil, and electric systems including heat pumps, with no smartphone or Wi-Fi needed. Caveat: the manufacturer has stopped making it, so what's left is remaining stock — Blind Mice Mega Mall is the buy, and low batteries get a two-week spoken warning.
